Chantal Yzermans is a dancer & choreographer. Her work explores the translation of historical materials across disciplines and investigates the potential of reinterpreting iconic works through contemporary performance.

She is the founder and artistic director of RADICAL LOW, an interdisciplinary ensemble collaborating with musicians, performers, visual artists, and researchers to develop innovative performing arts projects. Since her studies at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp and formative years in New York—where she worked with Merce Cunningham and the Merce Cunningham Foundation—her practice has evolved through international presentations, residencies, and cross-disciplinary research.

To date, RADICAL LOW has presented work internationally at institutions & festivals including Centre Pompidou-Metz, Rencontres Chorégraphiques Internationales de Seine Saint-Denis, Loop Festival Barcelona, Museum of Contemporary Art Antwerp,  La Casa Encendida Madrid, Danspace Project NYC and other venues across Europe and the United States.
