Chantal Yzermans revisits her 2017 performance NOBOLERO through a new collaboration with photographer Aleksei Kazantsev and pianist Manuel del Rincón. Together they transform Ravel’s Boléro into a real-time contemporary fresco, a fleeting engraving made of light, movement, and sound. NOBOLERO 2.1 reveals the chemistry between photography, music, and gesture: a live dialogue between image and action, unfolding moment by moment before our eyes.
