ONRI, allegory of night

The source material for this project  is the 1950 black and white Hollywood Classic Movie ‘Sunset Boulevard’  by Billy Wilder. Images and Fragments  of this legendary film icon  are re-processed  into an iconographical and theatrical action- performance by Chantal Yzermans.

The set design is by the French visual artist Martine Schildge.

This  collaborative of artists, directed by Belgian choreographer Chantal Yzermans re-map a  nocturnal ride into a 39 minute theatrical action-performance.

In this progressive nocturnal promenade TIME takes them further and further away,

going from image to thought, from perception to conception.
